A short set at my local bar Stamps in Crosby supporting top Irish songwriter Andy White.
I’m feeling a touch off colour due to being unable to move my head to the right. It’s been coming on for a few days and feels like a bug rather than a weird sleeping position. However like the super trouper I am, I manfully soldier on, through the pain barrier and no one notices. So I tell them about it.
This was a great night of music. Andy has been joined on his current tour by maestro Radoslav Lorkovic a Croat-Texan piano/accordian player and the noise they make together is wonderful. Love songs, protest songs, song songs etc are played and received enthusiastically by the good crowd assembled here.
I have a good old fashioned amount of drink and waffle away, carelessly dropping names and having a jolly time of it.
