Arthur Lee RIP

RIP Arthur Lee.

If there is one album every home should have it’s Forever Changes by Love. There’s not a duff song on it, I’d go so far as to say that it’s perfect, a punk easy listening experience that has changed many peoples lives.

Martyn Campbell played bass for Arthur in the early 90s when Mick and John Head got a band together for him. I went to the Liverpool gig at Cream (called Nation then) and it was close to being a religious experience. Unforgettable. Just like Love and their music.

It Just Is was compared to Love in Uncut Magazine and I’ve never been more pleased about something in my life.

Arthur thanks for the music.
