Our Cat Fenny Bently died at the weekend. He was 14 years old and has been looking a bit scraggy recently. He died peacefully in his sleep under the paddling pool. We’ve put a little memorial to him in the back yarden. (See pic above).
Fenny was born to a friends cat, Gary, (he was a she..) and he’s been a big part of the family. The kids loved him.
In his youth he was a bit of a terror and was known for being a tad unfriendly at times to strangers - a guard cat - but he was a charismatic liitle bugger.
My mate Perry named him by randomly picking a place on a map. It’s a little village in Derbyshire near where my wife’s from and we went and had a drink in one of the village’s 2 pubs. Well worth the visit, it’s near Ashbourne.
