This is an old song I wrote with Captain Pop compadre Brian Chin about wife beating. I knew someone who suffered at the hands of their husband and it took them a long time to get out, either because she was scared or to keep the family together or some other reason.
I was reminded of it again because of someone else I had heard about being abused in this way.
The song is from the female perspective and doesn’t have a happy ending but oftentimes it doesn’t.
