This is 16 Tambourines live on Granada News doing our single How Green Is Your Valley? We played in the mock-roman building down at the Albert Dock when it had just opened and I can remember the sound was awful and echoey (echoey echoey echoey…). We had originally mimed it in Frodsham overlooking the massive ICI chemical plant in Runcorn but that proved politically sensitive so they called us in to do it in the news building.
I wish someone had reminded me that we were going to be on telly and that my hair therefore might like to be combed. At least I’m not in the guitarists shirt! Tony Mac looks about 10 bless him.
